The Samsung ML-2240 is a basic monochrome laser printer, intended mainly for home use. It has a 150-page input tray and can print up to 17 pages per minute. It is compact and has front-accessible toner and paper replacement panels.

It has a toner saving mode that can increase the toner cartridge's life by about 450 pages by reducing droplet size. The printer has an overall resolution of 1200 x 600 dpi, connects to computers via USB 2.0, and has a one-push automatic job cancelling button. Its processor operates at 150MHz, 8 MB of RAM, and it has a maximum monthly duty of around 8000 pages.
