Lexmark Z2320
$35.00
Released March, 2008
The Pros:Very affordable - excellent option for users on a budget with basic printing needs. Installation CD makes initial setup a breeze - even includes instructions on how to unpack the unit. "A"-type paper trays are compatible with recyclable ink cartridges only - promotes environmental awareness through reduces ecological impact.
The Cons:Cartridge yield is fairly low - 175-page black/150-page color handling is not ideal for users who print frequently. Color printing is inconsistent - prone to jagged lettering at smaller font sizes while photo prints are grainy and under-saturated. Combined color cartridge is poorly designed - must be replaced as soon as one level is depleted, regardless of other ink levels.
