The Pros:Tall build makes it a bit easier to access the scanner, don't have to lean over. Touch display and menu options are well designed and easy to work with. Making scans to PDF or copies is fast and simple to do.
The Cons:Won't read from a number of USB storage devices, no documentation on this at all. Faxes often are received looking crooked on the other end.
The Lexmark X642E is a mid-range multifunction monochrome laser printer that also features a fax machine, scanner and photocopier. It is also versatile in that it can handle labels, heavy paper and recycled paper or other unique forms of printing (e.

Its scanner can email scanned documents or save them directly to USB flash memory. The whole unit can also detect the size of paper being scanned or copied to select the proper tray to print from. Maximum print resolution is 1200 x 1200 dpi, and paper input and output capacities are 3100 and 500 sheets respectively. It also has security functions like SNMP v3, SSL and IP Security.
