The Cons:Scanning to PDF creates unreasonably large files. Cannot scan/copy double sided documents. Makes a fair amount of noise when printing from loud fans.

The Lexmark X240DN is a multi-function entry-level monochrome laser printer with very similar features to the X204N. It is designed for small workgroups, and can produce up to 30 pages per minute, with about 8 seconds for completion of the first page of a print job.

It also has a built-in scanner, fax machine and photocopier, with 50-page automatic feeder for larger documents. It is supposed to be very simple to use, with intuitive menu design, and accessible supply load slots. It also has some environmentally friendly features, like high yield (approximately 9000 page) cartridges and free enrollment in Lexmark's cartridge collection program. Its input trays can hold up to 800 sheets, the processor speed is 266MHz, and the printer can email scanned documents directly from the operator panel.
