Lexmark E450DN

$600.00 Released November, 2006

Product Shot 1The E450dn is the upper-level model in Lexmark's E350 series of monochrome laser printers. While conserving the compact size, wired network-readiness, and excellent print speed of the E352dn, the E450dn features a larger, 4-line LCD screen, a more powerful 400MHz processor, and greater standard memory at 64 MB, among other minor differences.

In tests, the E450dn printed text documents at speeds approaching the advertised 35 ppm, significantly faster than competitors. The cartridge holds 6000 pages, and the included 250-sheet input tray can be replaced with a larger one holding 550 sheets. Lexmark has also attempted to minimize the environmental impact of the E450dn with features like EcoMode, which saves toner, and a separate toner and photoconductor, to reduce waste when one must be replaced.
