Kodak ESP 3250

$130.00 Released September, 2009

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Affordable price point. Built-in SD and MemoryStick card reader for printing directly from compatible camera storage. Multi-function device - printer, scanner, copier.

The Cons:You get what you pay for - fairly lousy quality prints / scans. USB connectivity only. Kodak claims completely unrealistic speeds of 30PPM, performs far below that.

The Kodak ESP 3250 is one of two all-in-one color printers (ESP 3250, ESP 5250) released in mid 2009. Both printers utilize Kodak’s Kodacolor technology, which reduces ink costs by up to $110 a year.

The ESP 3250 is essentially a step-up from the original ESP 3, in that it adds along a 5-in-1 memory card reader and a 1.5” LCD display. Like its predecessor, the printer handles black/white printing (up to 30ppm), copying (30ppm), and scanning (1200dpi). And it fits either 100 standard sheets of paper or 20 photo sheets between 4x6” to 8.5x14”. Additional features include a USB 2.0 interface, lower power consumption, and manual two-sided printing. Black cartridges retail for $9.99 and color cartridges for $14.99.
