HP Photosmart B9180

$700.00 Released October, 2001

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Prints on the proper paper are extremely good, look photo-lab quality. Prints come out fairly quickly even at higher quality settings. Prints don't fade even if you accidentally leave them in the sun.

The Cons:Big printer, takes up a fair amount of room compared to other printers that work with this size of paper. Takes about a half-hour to get the printer properly calibrated after hardware setup and driver installation.

The Photosmart Pro B9150 is a top-of-the-line professional inkjet photo printer from HP. Primarily designed for light home/home office use due to its rather small ink cartridges, the B9150 allows you to print a large variety of paper sizes, including those too wide for regular photo printers.

Product Shot 2 It can also be used to print ordinary double-sided documents through additional cartridges not included with the machine, it can be upgraded to further improve image quality in the same manner. In addition, the unit can also be connected to a network via a built in Ethernet port so a host PC does not have to be left on to act as a print server.
