It can print up to 4800 x 1200 dpi in color, which is supplied by the 4 ink cartriges; black, cyan, magenta and yellow. It has a larger standard input capacity of 600 sheets compared to lower models, with a 150 sheet max output capacity, and can print on a wide range of paper formats and sizes. Also unlike lower models, it comes with two paper trays as a standard. The scanner is a 8.5" x 14" flatbed ADF, which is larger than the lower models, with a maximum optical resolution of 2400 dpi (up to 19200 dpi enhanced). The automatic feeder can handle up to 50 sheets with 256 levels of greyscale. When used as a copier, it can handle up to 99 copies at once at 34 copies per minute (color) at a resolution of 1200 x 600 dpi. For faxing, it can handle up to 125 pages in memory with a resolution of 300 x 300 dpi, at a speed of 3 seconds per page.
