The HP Officejet Pro K5400 is an affordable injet printer offered by HP that is designed for a small office environment.  It has a maximum print speed of 36 pages per minute (ppm), and can put out 10 ppm in color at comparible quality to a laser printer.

It is capable of a color print resolution of up to 4800 x 1200 dpi, which is supplied by four ink cartriges; black, cyan, magenta and yellow. The input tray can handle up to 250 sheets, with an output tray capable of 150 sheets. It is capable of printing on many media types and sizes, including envelopes, transparencies, photo media, cards, etc. It can be connected with a high speed USB 2.0 port, or with several other option HP connectivity options. The K5400 is available as a base model (P.N. C8184A) and as the K5400dtn (P.N. C9277A) which features embedded networking, automatic 2-sided printing and a high-capacity 350 sheet paper tray.
