HP Officejet 7000
$280.00
Released June, 2009
The Pros:Low cost for a printer that can handle paper formats this wide. Renders line drawings from CAD programs very well. Software integrates with HP Solution Center, good if you have multiple HP printers.
The Cons:Photos tend to come out looking grainy in the shadowed areas even with the best settings. Can't do borderless at the highest paper size. Easy to get a paper jam if the paper isn't loaded exactly correctly.
The HP Officejet 7000 is a speedy printer, with a maximum letter print speed of 33 pages per minute for black and white, and 32 pages per minute for color. Unlike some of the other printers on the market, the Officejet 7000 can have only one ink cartridge replaced at a time, so that the consumer doesn't have to replace the color everytime the black goes out first.
