Using HP's own ePrint technology, users can print content directly from a laptop, smartphone or tablet device through over a common Wi-Fi network for instant document and picture production. Apple iDevice users can download the free AirPrint application for further control of printable content, using their iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to edit and control content. High-quality color documents can be printed at 17 pages per minute, with fully-adjustable color settings for getting the most out of each ink cartridge. For shared printing environments, ink usage can be monitored and controlled via the built-in password system with quick access to individual cartridges via the flip-down front panel. The LaserJet Pro 100 also offers faxing at speeds up to 33.6 kilobytes-per-second, and automatic shut-down modes for optimal energy conservation.
