HP LaserJet M3035xs MFP
$2,180.00
Released January, 2007
The Pros:Good options for scanning, works well with networks and PDF creation. Fax works really well, no compatibility issues and it's nice and quick. Copy function is quick and easy to use.
The Cons:Document feeder sees semi-regular jams, easy to clear but happens more often than it should. When something malfunctions it usually costs a lot of money to fix and hours on the phone with tech support.
The HP LaserJet M3035xs MFP is a printer that comfortably positions itself as a high end corporate printer considering its price and its features: duplex printing (it can print, copy and scan both on both sides of a page, thus saving up to 50% of time and paper), it can accommodate up to 75,000 pages a month, but what really sets this piece aside from other printers in the HP Laserjet corporate printers is the speed: unlike the $1,500 HP LaserJet M3027 MFP that prints 27 pages per minute, this piece prints 35.

It also goes way above the rest in the same series when it comes to memory: like the others it comes with a built in 256 MB memory, but it can be expanded to up to 512 MB. Also this piece has a built in hard disk of 40GB. It also does multitasking (ie users can print and fax at the same time), and has input capacity of 1100 sheets.
