The Pros:Inexpensive all-in-one (minus Fax). Acceptable print quality. Works with Linux - at least Linux Ubuntu.
The Cons:Fairly noisy. No fax. Ink cartridges are fairly hard to come by.
The HP Deskjet F4280 is a general purpose all-in-one inkjet printer, copier, scanner from HP. Primarily designed for light home/home office use due to its rather small ink cartridges, the F4280 allows you to print on only a basic variety of paper sizes.

The F4280 improves on the F4180, specifically printing faster due to utilizing a different printing system. It is also Energy Star qualified, whereas the F4180 is not. Similar to the F4180, the F4280 has the same maximum copy limit of 9, drastically reducing the usability of this function.

#hp_deskjet_f4280 Am using HP Deskjet F4180 All-in-One Printer from last 5 years now, and I've never been unhappy with this printer. The print quality is very good, is equal to photo print quality and it is easy to use,
But here the thing is am update my system from windows xp to windows vista. The printer is working fine, but is unable to scan the images through the scanner.
So am unable to find any supported software for scanning support of the HP LaserJet 2605 at hp.com. Just Now I downloaded HP Deskjet F4180 All-in-One Printer scanner from driver download website http://go4download.com/hp-deskjet-4180/ and installed into my sytem.
