Product Shot 1 The Pros:Accurate colour reproduction to digital originals. Individual prints of larger sizes complete faster than older generations and competing models. Very quiet during operation, with no vibrations.

The Cons:Alignment issues occur when printing larger than 8.5 x 11. Ink cartridge size is smaller than previous generations. Has processing issues with large images and often prints on additional sheets.

The Deskjet 9800 is a general purpose inkjet printer from HP. Primarily designed for a medium amount of home/home office use, the 9800 allows you to print on a wide variety of paper sizes compared to the more basic budget models.

Where to Buy

Faster, and containing cartridges with 2-3x the ink capacity, the 9800 is not marketed towards those interested in business-as-usual productivity needs. While it can still print regular office documents, the 9800 is not as fast and does not sport the same connectivity options as the 6940 or 6988 variants. Rather, the 9800 is aimed towards those who require a printer for over-sized professional-looking images or marketing materials.
