HP Deskjet 460C
$250.00
Released July, 2005
The Pros:Printer turns on quickly, self-test is only a few seconds. Printing is fast for an inkjet, pages come out quick. Documents print fairly sharply, easy to read.
The Cons:Doesn't come with a battery pack, need to buy an upgrade module for that - meanwhile need to use a power cord, which limits portability. Won't accept standard Wireless G card, need to use proprietary wireless card from HP.
Aimed at the mobile professional the 460C is a mobile general purpose inkjet printer from HP. At just 4.6 pounds, the 460C has the impressive ability to be both compact and fully featured. Sporting an optional Lithium-Ion battery which can print up to 450 pages per charge, the 460C can print a large variety of paper sizes wirelessly or without a PC through CF or SD card.

While not especially fast it is hard to blame such a small and fully featured unit.
