Canon PIXMA MX310
$120.00
Released August, 2007
The Pros:Excellent print quality for the price point - both color and black/white are clear and vivid. Supports higher-capacity cartridges - helpful for users who print on a regular basis. Surprisingly quiet for its size - maintains a lower output volume than many other all-in-one printing units.
The Cons:Scanner may not capture larger images - leaves edge spacing up to 1/4". Manual duplex can be a hassle for two-sided printing - sheets must be flipped by the user each time. Relatively large - may not integrate smoothly into some home office applications.
The PIXMA MX310 is an inexpensive general purpose all-in-one printer, scanner, copier and fax machine from Canon. Primarily designed for a small amount of home/home office use due to its slower speeds and small ink cartridges, the MX300 features barebone printer and connectivity options compared to more advanced models from Canon and comparable brands.

#canon_pixma_mx310 All Printers have something in common, not even your Canon Pixma MX310 can separate itself from this all encompassing trait. Printers need Ink. With the sensitivity of the quality hardware now found in your Canon Pixma MX310, it needs to be good Ink as well.

#canon_pixma_mx310 Nice enough print quality, but really eats up the ink. We only print 5 sheets a day (about 20% coverage or less) and we have to replace a black cartridge every month and color every 6 weeks. And like all cartridges, they're expensive. I trusted the Canon name, but never again.
