The Canon PIXMA iP6000D is a higher-end color inkjet printer intended mainly for photo printing use. it has a built-in LCD display on the top of the printer that allows selection of printable photos, and some minor photo editing without having to be connected to a computer.

It can thus print directly from memory cards, or from PictBridge enabled digital devices, or wirelessly with infrared phones or PDAs. It has a total of 1536 ink nozzles, and 6 different color cartridges. The cartridge design is supposed to be economical, since the cartridges are single-color and can be replaced individually. The iP6000D can print a 4" x 6" photo in about 75 seconds.
