Brother MFC-885CW

$250.00 Released October, 2007

Product Shot 1 The Pros:LCD screen is large, bright, and makes menu navigations simple compared to small-screen models. Built-in phone with answering machine is convenient and not usually found paired with AIOs in this price range. Separate ink cartridges are more compatible with aftermarket ink than many competitors' printers.

The Cons:Automatic cleaning function is timed and uses ink regardless of the amount of printing done between cleans. Ink requires longer than typical photo printers to dry. Print tray is somewhat smaller than expected in this price range.

The Brother MFC-885CW is an inkjet-based all-in-one machine with scan, copy, print, and fax capabilities.  It features wireless 802.11b/g standard networking, a 5.8 GHz cordless handset, and a widescreen 4.2" LCD viewscreen-the first available on a commercial machine.
