Brother MFC-8220

The Brother MFC-8220 is a $300 all in one laser printer that does printing, copying, scanning and faxing that was released in 2008. It is compared to the $300 Brother MFC-7225N in the same series.

It has similar features to the MFC-7225N: 21 pages per minute, a 2400x600 dpi, a 250 sheet input capacity.  Surprisingly, this piece lacks the ethernet port the other model has even though it is newer, but has the same amount of memory.  Ethernet ports usually distinguish between entry level prints and more advanced ones. It has a 33.6 Kbps fax modem speed.
