The Brother MFC-7840W is a multifunction printer that prints, scans, faxes and copies. Retailing at $300, this piece was released in 2008. It has been praised for its fine quality printing of text and business graphics at a fast rate and a cost effective 3 cents a page.

Setup is fast, and this device excels in connectivity: it has usb 2.0, ethernet and wi-fi. Its designed is regarded as intuitive and user friendly. There has been some issues with the scanner that wasn't very flexible. It has a very impressive printing speed at 23 pages per minute, a speed that even the more expensive MFC 9000 series don't have.
