It prints high quality documents at 2400 x 600 dpi, which are comparable in quality to the more advanced MFC 9000 series. It has a USB interface, a 16 mb memory and can accommodate up to 10,000 pages a month. It is similar to the Brother MFC-7220 at $200.00 in the same series. It has a faster processor. It was released 4 years after the Brother MFC-7220.
