Brother DCP-7040

$180.00 Released May, 2006

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Cheap OEM drum and toner cartridges are available. Handles multiple operating systems, including ones that frequently have compatibility issues with other printers such as OSX and Vista. Very fast print speed, starts quickly and lays ink without pauses.

The Cons:Scanner doesn't handle color very accurately, tends to leave streaks across them. LCD display is small and has no backlight, difficult to read even in a well lit room. High toner costs with lower yields than claimed.

The Brother DCP-7040 is a compact & personal laser copier, printer, and scanner for at-home use. A slight step up from the Brother DCP-7030, the Brother DCP-7040 adds along a 35-sheet auto document feeder.
